All known organisms appear to translate genetic information to protein molecules via the same genetic code. this finding strongly supports the hypothesis that "All organisms are descended from a single common ancestor."

<h3>What is genetic information?</h3>

A person's genetic information may include details about their own genetic testing, the genetic testing of their family members, and details regarding the manifestation of a disease or problem in their kin (i.e. family medical history).

<h3>What use does genetic information serve?</h3>

Genetic data or the findings of genetic tests can be used to make reproductive decisions, ensure early detection and treatment of diseases, or prevent the start of certain disorders. In addition to non-medical uses like insurance and employment, this information is also useful.

<h3>What is genetic information harassment?</h3>

Making derogatory or insulting comments regarding a job applicant's or employee's genetic information, or the genetic information of a related of the applicant or employee, can be considered genetic information harassment.

What are the two main differences between capillaries in the periphery and capillaries surrounding the brain
Lorico [155]

Answer:

The options are not given but they are gotten from another websites.

A. Capillaries surrounding the brain have no pores and are surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells.

B. Capillaries surrounding the brain have pores and are surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells.

C. Capillaries surrounding the brain have no pores and are not surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells.

D. Capillaries surrounding the brain have pores and are not surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells.

The correct answer is option A.

Capillaries surrounding the brain have no pores and are surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells.

Explanation:

Capillaries surrounding the brain have no pores and are surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells because

Capillaries are tiny blood vessels in the circulatory system that connect aterioles to venules. They are the most abundant or they are much blood vessels. They can penetrate the tissues of the body which allow passage of food nutrients, oxygen in the body thereby allowing exchange of nutrients and oxygen between the body tissues and the blood.

Capillaries surrounding the brain have no pores and are surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells while capillaries in the periphery Capillaries surrounding the brain have pores and are not surrounded by membranes of astrocyte cells.

What is weathering and erosion
Llana [10]
Once the rock has been weakened and broken up by weathering it is ready for erosion. Erosion happens when rocks and sediments are picked up and moved to another place by ice, water, wind or gravity. Mechanical weathering physically breaks up rock. One example is called frost action or frost shattering.

What will occur if a species is divided into two groups and allowed to reproduce in different environments for many generations?
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

The original species will diverge into two new species. It will occur speciation. It will occur some sort of allopatric speciation.

Explanation:

When the original species is divided and placed under different environments, where they can reproduce for many generations, many changes or mutations will occur in each group. These changes will depend on each group´s environment and its ecological pressures and will lead to divergence. Pressures act on individuals and make them adapt to the new environmental conditions. Generation after generation, the genotype of individuals will increase the fitness to survive and reproduce. The fixation of mutations will increase the difference among both groups, up to the diverging point into two new species.

The biological concept of species states that individuals of the same species can reproduce because they have a genetic reservoir in common: many genetic variants.

Genetic variability is the measure of a species organism´s tendency to differentiate. In genetic variability, individuals of the same species are not identical. They are recognizable as members of the same species, but they differ in shape, function, and behavior. There exist variations among individuals of the same species.

Genetic variability originates from mutations, recombinations, and karyotype alterations. It allows or makes possible evolution.

Allopatric speciation consists of the geographic separation of a continuous genetic background giving place to two or more new geographically isolated populations. These separations might be due to migration, extinction of geographically intermediate populations, or geological events. In this speciation, some barriers impede genetic interchange, or genetic flux, as the two new populations that are separated can not get together and mate anymore. These barriers might be geographical or ecological.

The process of allopatric speciation involves different steps:

• The emergence of the barrier.

• Interruption in the genetic interchange

• The occurrence of new mutations and their accumulation in time in each population. Slow and gradual differentiation.

• Genetic divergence by natural selection and reproductive isolation makes it impossible for the two groups to mate even if the barrier disappears.

• Prezigotic isolation mechanisms favored by selection once occurs a secondary contact between the new species in formation.
