Along with in-class exercises, the combat stress now program also gives students take-home assignments where they keep a stress diary in which they record events they find stressful and their response to the same.

     Having a stress diary where they can record their daily stressful life events and feelings gives them an excellent portal to vent out things. Its important for children who have hard time expressing their emotions verbally. Even if the child has clarity and there is discussion, recording on paper helps them to learn how to navigate stress and gives them a clear viewpoint of how things are and how they are moving. Further, it also gives the analytical right side of the brain do wonders. Also a regular habit of writing can bring a big difference in child's life.
