The three tips you should keep in mind before beginning work inside a computer case are backtracing, expanding, and working properly.

Keep a journal as you work so you may go back and forth if required. Take off any loose jewelry so you don't get it tangled in wires or parts while working on Computer. Keep screws and spacers neatly arranged and in one location, such as a cup or tray, to stay organized and avoid losing small parts.

A board should not be stacked on top of another. Be careful not to contact the chips when handling motherboards, cards, or drives.

Expander cards should be held by the edges. Keep a magnetized screwdriver away from a microchip to protect it.

After putting everything back together in a classroom setting, have your instructor review your work before putting the cover back on and turning the power on.
