The Columbian exchange was a product of European overseas expansion (a series of interactions and adaptations among societies across the Atlantic). Exploration and conquest by the Spanish and Portuguese resulted in extensive fatal epidemics, the creation of racially mixed populations, and the establishment of a caste system.

Spanish settlers had a significant impact on the Western Hemisphere's economic, social, and political growth exchange through the introduction of new crops and cattle. New American crops encouraged population growth in European countries.

The European transition from feudalism to capitalism was made easier by new mineral income exchange sources. The British colonies in North America supplied Europe with raw goods including rice, tobacco, and lumber.

During a riot, a large sporting event, or mob action, we lose self-awareness and self-restraint. this is known as de-individuation.

De-individuation is the loss of self-awareness when you are in a large group. When people get in a large group, they typically become empowered by those around them and act a different way. Most people get hyped up and excited and behave in ways out side of their norm.

As learning occurs over repeated conditioning trials, the conditioned stimulus increasingly predicts the unconditioned stimulus,
RoseWind [281]

As learning occurs over repeated conditioning trails, the conditioned stimulus increasingly predicts the unconditioned stimulus, and prediction error declines.

When the outcome of a conditioning trial is different from that which is predicted by the conditioned stimuli that are present on the trial(i.e.., when the US is surprising). prediction error is necessary to create Pavlovian conditioning (and associative learning generally). So conditioning works to correct or reduce prediction error.

To learn something through classical conditioning, there must first be some prediction error, or the chance that a conditioned stimulus won't lead to the expected outcome. with the example of the bell and the light, because the bell always leads to the reward of food, there's is no "prediction error" that the addition of the light helps to correct. However, if the researcher suddenly requires that the bell and the light both occurs in order to receive the food, the bell alone will produce a prediction error that the animal has to learn.

Lamont believes in democracy and equality, and when asked to describe himself he cites his appreciation for people of all races
mixer [17]

Answer:

Lamont is engaged in value contradiction.

Explanation:

Value contradiction is a mental process where people are not being consistent in their application of a value they express verbally or consciously. In the case of Lamont, it is likely that his implicit prejudice against women is preventing him from valuing their role in professional society as his own implicit biases lead him to doubt in the authority of women and their abilities. Although his prejudice may not be conscious, it is clear he feels that women are physically and intellectually inferior to men.

Removal of current or future unpleasant consequences to increase the likelihood that someone will repeat a behavior is called.
nataly862011 [7]

Removal of current or future unpleasant consequences to increase the likelihood that someone will repeat a behavior is called negative reinforcement.

Negative reinforcement is a technique for teaching specific behaviors. In response to a stimulus, something unpleasant or uncomfortable is taken away with negative reinforcement. With the expectation that the unpleasant thing will be removed, the target behavior should increase over time.

One of the most effective forms of negative reinforcement in schools could be the removal of homework in response to excellent work ethic. If a child works exceptionally hard in school one day and goes above and beyond, an appropriate response would be to give that child a night off from homework.
