The central idea serves as the narrative's uniting theme and connects all of the other fictional devices the author uses to tell the story.

How to explain the central idea?

The dominating impression or the general, overarching truth revealed in the story are both good ways to define the key theme. The main title of an article will frequently contain the content's core theme. However, a text's main idea can be found in every section and every paragraph. You can combine these key concepts from each division into a single key thought or the meta-core concept.

The principal character's discoveries, feelings, conflicts, and experiences are reflected in the central concepts. They are analysis of how the world functions and/or the author's perspective on human existence. The main points are tenable. Look for the interpretation that can best be supported and that covers the majority of the text.

The central idea of a story is an author’s comment, usually implied, on the subject of his narrative.

I have a quiz can someone help me ?

For that first one the answer would be the third choice. Throughout the story, Anne would continually write in her diary which proved her as an excellent writer. For the second one, probably the first choice, due to the fact of that long time that everyone was staying in the Annex, it was super depressing. For the last one, I'm not really sure, but I'll guess the third choice. I hope this helps, and please mark as brainliest if possibly correct. THX!
