A medical assistant should respect another’s diversity by being free and non judgemental about individuals from a different background when dealing with them in the hospital.
<h3>What is Diversity?</h3>
This is referred to a community which comprises of people from different social and ethnic backgrounds, gender etc.
It is best to exhibit the same behavior to every patient irrespective of any form of gender or racial differences. It is also best to learn their culture and beliefs so as to understand a lot more about them as this helps to correct various impressions about their attitude and accepting them as they are.
