\sqrt{125x}

Here 125 can be written as  (5)(5)(5)

=\sqrt{(5)(5)(5)x}

here (5) (5) can be written as5^{2}

=\sqrt{5^{2}(5)x }

so it can be written as

=5\sqrt{5x}

The average age in a sample of 190 students at City College is 22. As a result of this sample, it can be concluded that the aver
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

The true mean \mu it probably could be larger, smaller, or equal to 22

Step-by-step explanation:

False.

By definition the sample mean is defined as:

\bar X = \frac{\sum_{i=1}^n X_i}{n}

For this case the value for the sample size is n =190 and the calculated sample mean is \bar X=22. This value represent the sample and for this case we can't assume that this value represent at all the population as the population mean \mu since we probably have variability from the data of the students at City College.

So we can conclude that the true mean \mu it probably could be larger, smaller, or equal to 22

How long did it take to reach the bottom of the slope
mafiozo [28]
To solve this we are going to use the kinematic equation for final velocity: V_{f}=V_{i}+at
where
V_{f} is the final velocity
V_{i} is the initial velocity
a is the acceleration
t is the time

We know for our problem that the the velocity at the beginning of the slope is  2.0ms^{-1}, so V_{i}=2.0. We also know that the speed ad the bottom of the slope is 20ms^{-1}, so V_{f}=20. We also know that the acceleration is 6ms^{-2}, so a=6. Lets replace those values in our formula and solve for t:
V_{f}=V_{i}+at
20=2+6t
6t=18
t= \frac{18}{3}
t=3 seconds

We can conclude that it takes the roller coaster 3 seconds to reach the bottom of the slope.
