The answer is
g'(x)=4x^3-10x=0 so (4x-10)x=0 it is x= 0 and x= 5/2

g(0)=4

g(5/2)=x^4-5x^2+4=11.81
the minimum is M(0, 4)

G ( x ) = x ^4 - 5 x² + 4
g `( x ) = 4 x³ - 10 x
4 x³ - 10 x = 2 x ( 2 x² - 5 ) = 0 ( the local minimum is where the derivative is equal to zero )
x = 0,
2 x² - 5 = 0
x² = 5/2
x = +/- √(5/2) = +/- 1.58
g ( 0 ) = 4 ( not the local minimum )
g ( √5/2 ) = g ( -√5/2 ) = ( √5/2 )^4 - 5 (√5/2 )² + 4 =
= 2.5 ² - 5 · 2.5 + 4 = 6.25 - 12.5 + 4 = - 2.25
Answer:
The local minimum is : M ( - 1.58 , - 2.25 ) and N ( 1.58, - 2.25 ).

The sum of two numbers is no more than 28. Let x represent the first number, and let y represent the second number. Which
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x the 1st and y the 2nd number. So the sum.of x and y means x+y is no more 28. That means is less than 28

So x+y<=28 or x+y<28.

The interior angles formed by the sides of a quadrilateral have measures that sun to 360° What is the value of X?
densk [106]

Answer:

x = 34

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum the 4 interior angles and equate to 360, that is

3x - 6 + 2x + 108 + 88 = 360 ← simplify left side

5x + 190 = 360 ( subtract 190 from both sides )

5x = 170 ( divide both sides by 5 )

x = 34

Which of the following are geometric sequences?
Elenna [48]
A. 2,-2,2,-2,2,-2,2
C. 10,5,2.5,1.25,0.625,0.1325
and
D. 1,2,4,8,16,32
Are all geometric sequences

This means that each sequential # is derived by either multiplying or dividing by a number.

For instance, A. is found by multiplying each by - 1, B. is found by multiplying each by 1/2 (0.5), and D. is found by multiplying each by 2
