The perimeter and area of each of the given figures are as calculated below.

How to find perimeter and area?

65) Perimeter of a triangle = Sum of all 3 sides

Thus, perimeter = 5cm + 12cm + 13cm = 20 cm

Area of triangle = (1/2) * base * height

Area = (1/2) * 12 * 5 = 30 cm²

66) Length of smaller side of triangle is;

s = √(5² - 3.5²)

s = 3.57

Perimeter = 2(8 + 5)

Perimeter = 26 in

Area = 2[(1/2) * 3.57 * 3.5] + (8 * 3.5)

Area = 12.495 + 28

Area = 40.495 in²

67) Perimeter = 4 * 3¹/₂

Perimeter = 14 in

Area = 3¹/₂ * 3¹/₂

Area = 49/4 in²

68) Perimeter = 3.5 + 7 + 8 + 4

Perimeter = 22.5 ft

Area = ¹/₂(7 * 0.5) + (7 * 3.5)

Area = 26.25 ft²

69) Perimeter of square - 45 cm

Thus;

Side length = 45/4 = 11.25 cm

Area = 11.25 * 11.25 = 126.5625 cm²

70) Volume = 2 * 2¹/₈ * 6³/₄

Volume = 918/32 = 459/16 mm²

Thus, the area, perimeter and volume for each of the figures are respectively;

65) Perimeter = 20 cm

Area = 30 cm²

66) Perimeter = 26 in

Area = 40.495 in²

67) Perimeter = 14 in

Area = 49/4 in²

68) Perimeter = 22.5 ft

Area = 26.25 ft²

69) Area = 126.5625 cm²

70) Volume = 918/32 = 459/16 mm²

Lonzell said the function shown in the graph is positive on the interval (−,) and negative on the interval (−,−)open negative 5
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

The positive graph is on the points (-5,-4) and (2,5)

And, negative would be (-4,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

As it seems that fgraph shows positive in the case when it is over x-axis, and negative when it is below y-axis

As on the interval (-1,5)

The graph is below x-axis i.e. on (-1,2)

And, over x-axis i.e. on (2,5)

At this point Lonzell’s is not correct

As on the interval (-5,-1)

The graph is below x-axis i.e. on (-4,-1)

And, over x-axis i.e. on (-5,4)

At this point Lonzell’s is not correct

So,

The positive graph is on the points (-5,-4) and (2,5)

And, negative would be (-4,2)
