voltage drop can occur both the high current and control circuits.

Voltage drop - it is the loss of voltage by caused by the flowing current through resistance.

As any length of wires will have resistance running a current through the direct circuit resistance will cause the voltage drop.

It occurs voltage at the end point is less then the starting point.

control circuits - The circuit which carries only the electric signals directing performance of control device not power that device controls.

voltage drop can occur across both the high-current and control circuits; however, the control circuit is more susceptible to voltage drop due to the much larger amount of current flowing in the circuit.

Ilya [14]

Answer:

a) F = -1035.385 N

b) Backwards

c) s = 15.60 m

Explanation:

Given information

u = Initial Speed of Car = 15.0 m/s

v = Final Speed of Car = 9.00 m/s

t_{b} = Breaking Time = 1.30 s

m = Mass of Car = 1040 kg

Part (a)

To find the force exerted on the car we use the following formula

F = ma

Where

F = Force = unknown

m = Mass of Car = 1040 kg

a = Acceleration of Car / Deceleration of Car = unknown

To find the force (F) we need to first find the deceleration rate (a)

To find the deceleration rate we use the following formula

a = \frac{v - u}{t}

Inputting the given values

a = \frac{15 - 9}{1.30} \\ a = -4.615

To find the force

F = ma \\ F = (1040)(-4.615) \\ F = (1040)(-4.615) \\ F = -1035.385 N

Part (b)

Since the value of F is negative this means the the force was opposite the direction of motion, hence the force was backwards.

Part (c)

To find the total distance the car moved while braking we use the following formula

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

Where

s = distance traveled

Inputting the values given

(9)^2 = (15)^2 + 2(-4.615)s

s = 15.60 m

If the distance is proportional to the square of the time, then the distance in 9 seconds will be  (9/8)²  as long as the distance in 8 seconds.

(9/8)² = 1.265625

The two forces of a 3rd law pair always act on different bodies. The two forces of a 3rd law pair always act on different bodies
svetoff [14.1K]

1. The two forces of a 3rd law pair always act on different bodies.

TRUE

SO above statement is TRUE because Newton's III law is valid for two different objects where one object will exert force and other body will exert reaction force on it.

2. Part F Given that two bodies interact via some force, the accelerations of these two bodies have the same magnitude but opposite directions. (Assume no other forces act on either body.)

FALSE

This is false because the force of action and Reaction is same on two different objects but for finding acceleration we need to divide the force by mass of two objects and since the mass of two bodies may be different so we can say that acceleration may be different.

3. Part G According to Newton's 3rd law, the force on the (smaller) moon due to the (larger) earth is

(i) greater in magnitude and antiparallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

(ii) greater in magnitude and parallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

(iii) equal in magnitude but antiparallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

(iv) equal in magnitude and parallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

(v) smaller in magnitude and antiparallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

(vi) smaller in magnitude and parallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

Since Earth and moon is an isolated system so here Newton's III law is valid due to which we can say that two forces are equal in magnitude but opposite in sign

so correct answer will be

equal in magnitude but antiparallel to the force on the earth due to the moon.

1. If you were the organizer of this dance event, are you favor in moving the date on May? Why
topjm [15]

Answer:

I am in favor of the dance event being in may. Because it is nice weather outside, more people will decide to come and spend their time there. It is also light in the evening in may, meaning that you could have the dance event at any time, and younger people will still feel safe at night, meaning their parents will be more open to lwtting kids go.
