Exocrine pancreas diseases are mostly caused by mitochondrial malfunction, which interferes with the synthesis and secretion of digesting enzymes in pancreatic acinar cells. However, little is known about the transcriptional processes that control mitochondrial function to sustain acinar cell physiology. Here, we seek to clarify the role of the estrogen-related receptor (ERR) in the homeostasis and energy production of pancreatic acinar cells.

<h3>What is Estrogen-related receptor ?</h3>

The ERRs are orphan nuclear receptors, which means it is unclear what their endogenous ligand actually is. They share a name with estrogen receptors due to their similarity in sequence, however they don't seem to bind any of the studied steroid hormones or estrogen.

<h3>What is Cellular Metabolism ?</h3>

The series of chemical processes that take place within cells in living things in order to sustain life is known as cellular metabolism. Complex series of regulated biochemical events, or metabolic pathways, are involved in cellular metabolism.

A network of biochemical processes called the cell metabolism transforms metabolites to carry out biological activities. The catabolic pathways that break down molecules to produce energy, which is then utilized to power biosynthetic processes and do mechanical effort, are at the center of this biochemical network.

Winter- color changes to more resemble winter surroundings. You'll see more white colors to blend in. 

Summer- the colors more resemble the summer colors; you'll see more browns and rocky looking colors to hide/blend in. 

Spring- you'll see very vibrant colors like that of a flower.
