To know whether a a sum is positive, negative or zero with out adding, we use the following formulas :

A number is said to be positive integer if it is greater than zero and a number is said to be negative integer if it is less than zero.

Now,

Positive + Positive = Always Positive

Positive+ Zero = Always Positive

Positive + Negative = positive or zero

Zero + Positive = positive always

Zero + Zero = zero always

Zero + Negative = negative always

Negative + Positive = negative or zero

Negative + Zero = negative always

Negative + Negative = negative always

Hence, in a system where A and B are any two integers then

if A > B, then sign of A determine the Sign of Sum

and if A = -B then answer will be zero
