The order of increasing bond length is N-H< N-O< N-S.

The sum of the covalent radii of the two atoms is typically how long the connection between them is. Indicated in picometers is bond length. Bond length therefore rises in the following order: Single bond, double bond, and triple bond. The kind and strength of covalent bonds between atoms are indicated by bond order and length. The relationship between bond order and length is inversely correlated. Bond length decreases as bond order is raised. The bond length is then calculated by adding the two radii.
