The equal justice ideal in criminal procedure refers to the impartial treatment of innocent and guilty individuals by law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges.

What do you mean by justice?

Justice can be viewed as separate from and more basic than benevolence, charity, mercy, generosity, or compassion, according to most contemporary views of justice. John Rawls asserts that "Justice is the primary virtue of social organizations, as truth is of systems of mind." Justice has historically been linked to ideas of fate, rebirth, or Divine Providence, i.e., living a life in line with the cosmos' blueprint. Thus, the connection between justice and fairness has historically and culturally been uncommon, and it may be primarily a new novelty [in western civilizations].

Daniel's prophetic ministry in Babylon:
SIZIF [17.4K]

Answer:

d. all of the above

Explanation:

Daniel's prophetic ministry in Babylon: was unique among the prophets of God, because, it appeared to be primarily to the Gentiles. It was also during "the times of the Gentiles"and as well both to Gentile captors and to Jewish captives

The Book of Daniel is a unique book amongst its counterparts in Old Testament. In it, Daniel's prophecy served as enlightenment for the "Times of the Gentile" before the full redemption of God's people Israel. Luke (21:24)

Unlike all other Old Testament prophets that served the nation of Israel by prophesying its divine judgment and future restoration. Daniel's prophecy however, focused on God's divine plan of redemption for the Gentile nations upon the earth.

Hence, his prophecy deals with the period from the destruction of Jerusalem (586 B.C.) until the Second Coming of Christ, a period termed by Jesus Christ himself as the "Times of the Gentiles."

Hence, basically, the book of Daniel shows a chronological outline of the prophetic history of the Times of the Gentiles, which serves as insight to many other prophetic passages in the Scriptures most especially, the New Testament Church.

In his attempt, the book of Daniel, revealed the formation of four Gentile kingdoms: which are

1. The Chaldean,

2. The Persian,

3. The Greek,

4. The Roman Empires, and their revolutions ( Daniel 2:31-45).

It also serves the following purposes:

1. It talks about the coming of Messiah ( Daniel 9:24-27),

2. It talks about Messiah's kingdom ( Daniel 2:35; Daniel 2:44),

3. It touches the coming of an antichrist and as well the period of Tribulation( Daniel 12:1; Daniel 12:10-12),

4. It made mentions on how the saints will rule and reign with Messiah ( Daniel 7:22; Daniel 7:27),

5. It touches the Resurrection occurence, and The Great White Throne Judgment ( Daniel 12:2),

6. It also mention eternity in Heaven ( Daniel 12:3).

In all, Daniel's prophecies serves as the guiding touch of the Old Testament Scriptures to pave the way for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ into this world.

Anestetic [448]

Answer:

payback period is 9.4785 ≅ 9.5 years

Explanation:

BTU stands for British thermal units and MCF stands for the volume of 1,000 cubic feet.

We know that one thousand cubic feet (Mcf) of natural gas equals 1.037 million Btu.

Difference between heat loss before and after installation = (42-28) millions BTU = 14 millions BTU

14 million BTU is equivalent to --

1.037 million BTU = 1 MCF

1 million BTU = (1/1.037) MCF

14 million BTU = (1/1.037) x 14 MCF = 13.5004 MCF

Cost of 13.5004 MCF = = $8.94 x 13.5004 = $120.6935

Pay back period = (1144/120.6935) = 9.4785

Therefore, her payback period is 9.4785 ≅ 9.5 years

Choose one of the following countries - United Kingdom, Germany, or Russia.
choli [55]

Answer:1 The fundamental economic problem occurs because resources have to be allocated amongst competing uses since wants are infinite whilst resources are scarce.

i You and your family: unless you are very wealthy, you and your family will never have enough money/income to satisfy all of your wants. For example, you might want to go to see a film but do not have enough money to do so; your family may want to buy the latest flat-screen TV but does not have enough spare income to purchase it.

ii Government: all governments face the economic problem since they never have enough money in their budgets to be able to fund all of the wants that are required. As a result choices and priorities have to be made. Typical choices to be made are, for example, between spending more on an infant health programme or on an infant educational programme. The limited budget means that both cannot be funded.

iii Manufacturing business: revenue and capital funds for any business are limited either through what is available inside a business or what can be borrowed outside. So, a firm might like to replace all of its outdated machinery but because it lacks the capital available to be able to do so can only replace some of it.

2 A typical answer, which includes examples from your country, could be:

       3 A possible answer:

Specialisation is where a firm concentrates its production on those goods where it has an advantage over others. It can apply in the case of people in the workplace, for example, where a firm concentrates production on a limited range of products. A consequence of specialisation is that the firm can produce more than if it is producing a wider range of products with the same resources. The division of labour is where the production process is split into individual tasks that are carried out in order. It has important benefits for a firm and for the economy including an increase in productivity and quality of goods that are produced compared to if each worker was making the product from scratch.

4 i Free market economy: Singapore

The market mechanism operates across a wide range of goods and services; there is limited government intervention, mainly in terms of regulations, budgetary and foreign policy. Minimal provision of public goods and merit goods.
