Option 1. Based on the prohibition by the eight amendment, I can say that that the answer matched the sample closely.

What is the eight amendment?

This amendment in the United States is the one that outlawed the use of force and all forms of aggression by the members of the police force in the United States of America. From the law in the amendment, they cannot be imposed to pay excessive bails and neither can excess fines or cruel punishments be meted to the people.

This was one of the bills of rights that was adopted by the United States in the year 1791 to protect the citizens of the nation. If the boy is a minor there is no way that he would be given the judgment of an adult. Instead the authority that would handle his case would be one that is from a juvenile court.

Hence we can conclude that Based on the prohibition by the eight amendment, I can say that that the answer matched the sample closely.

What sorts of laws do you believe the government should make? Why?
galben [10]
The government should make laws that protect the citizens from hurting themselves and or others (for obvious reasons).
Most laws are needed but some laws are just silly such as: in Alabama it is illegal to carry an ice-cream cone in your back pocket, in Maine you can't tickle a woman with a feather duster, in Utah you can't carry a violin in a paper bag, in Tennessee you can't sell hollow logs, in Kansas you can't serve wine in teacups, in California you can't ride a bike in a pool, in Connecticut pickles must bounce to be considered actual pickles, and in wiscomsin you cant serve apple pie without cheese (these are all real, you should look them up).
People can be counted on to scoff at these laws or even be unaware of their existence.
Hope this helps, I certainly had fun writing it lol.

How did peoples general way of thinking change as a result of the scientific revolution?
Vlad1618 [11]
A) People questioned long-accepted views.

This is the correct answer because after the scientific revolution, experimenting and testing scientific hypotheses became easier to conduct. With an improvement in laboratory resources and knowledge, long-accepted views can be tested before they are verified and accepted as scientifically true.
