The face valid method of personality questionnaires involves using reason or theory to come up with a question.

Face validity refers to whether a test appears to measure what it is supposed to measure. It measures the extent to which a test is subjectively covering the concept it intends to measure. It demonstrates how much relevant is the test to the test participants.

Face validity is important because it represents the very first step to measuring the overall validity of a test or technique. It is an intuitive procedure for determining whether a new measure seems useful at first glance.

Personality questionnaires are tools for assessing personal behavioral preferences. It deals with one's life approach, feelings and emotions management, outlook, and in all personality.

lidiya [134]

You didn't show a timeline, but I'll give you the dates.

The Council of Trent was held over a span of years from 1545 to 1563. This was held following the events of the Protestant Reformation.

The Council of Trent served to reform some abuses that were acknowledged by the Catholic Church. Mostly, though, the Council aimed to assert the full authority of Roman power and doctrine over the Protestant threat. The Protestants' teaching of sola fide ("faith alone") was resoundingly rejected by the Council of Trent.

In terms of problems addressed by the Council of Trent:

 • Indulgences had been attacked by Martin Luther in his 95 Theses, as the catalyst that started the Reformation movement. In regard to indulgences, the Council of Trent upheld the underlying principle -- that the church had authority to grant reprieve to penance or time in purgatory. But the sale of indulgences was stopped. The church recognized that the selling of indulgences had been an abuse and determined to end that practice.
 • Weaknesses in clergy education were also addressed by the Council of Trent. Seminaries were established, and the Roman Catechism, also known as the Catechism of the Council of Trent, was commissioned by the Council and was published in 1566, with the intent of thoroughly educating the church's clergy.

dexar [7]

Answer:

D. Filing for a discharge petition

Explanation:

The best course of action for the congressman to take is 'the filing for a discharge petition'.

Normally, when a bill is introduced by a member of the House of Representatives, the speaker sends the bill to the relevant committee who then deliberate on it, seek expert advice etc. After the deliberations, the bill is then sent to the house for debate and possible voting for onward movement to the senate if passed by the majority.

In the event that the bill is stalled in the committee, the sponsor can file for a discharge petition. A discharge petition involves bringing out a bill from the committee that has spent at least thirty (30) days, without waiting for a report from the committee. To successfully file for a discharge petition, the sponsor must garner at least two hundred and eighteen votes (218) votes which is a clear majority.
