The volume of 1 mol of an ideal gas become half if Half the gas escapes.

What is Ideal gas equation?

An ideal gas is defined as the hypothetical gas which does not and can not be exist in our universe. The ideal gas is an concept which scientists proposed to use it as a model by giving the assumption of multiple properties which all gases follow and make it easier to deal with the gases, by predicting their behavior, and calculating the values of their properties in all different situations and scenarios.

Mathematical expression for Ideal gas equation:

PV = nRT

where,

P is the pressure of the gas

V is the volume of the gas

n is the number of moles of the gas

R is the gas constant

T is the temperature of the gas.

As we can see that, number of moles of gas is directly proportional to the volume of the gas.

Thus, if half of the gas escaped and pressure and temperature remains constant, the number of moles also become half.

Thus, the volume of 1 mol of an ideal gas become half if Half of the gas escapes.

What description best describes both mirrors and lenses?
WITCHER [35]
Mirrors reflect light and lenses refract light.
Mirrors form images by reflecting all light that is incident on their surface, which allows us to see the reflections of objects in mirrors. Lenses, on the other hand, bend light and allow it to pass through them. The bending of light is used to form enlarged images, and for many other purposes as well.
