the equation of the line is

y = -3x + 6

slope is m = -3

as we know that for parallel lines, the slope is always equal.

so the slope of the new line is also m = -3

it is also passing through (-4,9)

so the equation of the line i s

y-9=m(x-(-4))

m= -3

y-9=-3(x+4)_{}

\begin{gathered} y-9=-3x-12 \\ y=-3x-12+9 \\ y=-3x-3 \end{gathered}

so the answer is y = -3x - 3

Decimal, fractions, simplest form
ser-zykov [4K]

The ratio is supposed to be successful field goals to attempts which would be <u>813 successful field goals : 1,422 attempts</u>.

This ratio equals the fraction <u>813/1422</u> and 813 is a prime number so that is the simplest form of the fraction.

The decimal form of a fraction is the quotient between the numerator and denominator. 813 ÷ 1422 = 0.571729957806. The question says to round to the nearest thousandth, so 0.572.
