The tablet has a capacity of 22GB

one bite = 1 character

2000 characters = 1 bite x 2000 characters= 2000 bites

1 bite = 1 x 10^-9 giga bite

------- -----------------------

x bite = 22 giga bite

Cross multiplying

x bite = (22GB) / 1 x 10^-9 GB

x = 2.2 x 10^10 bites

To find how many pages of text the tablet holds we divide the value of 22GB in bites by the number of bites of one page

22GB = 2.2 x 10 ^10 bites

1 page holds 2000 bites

No of pages of text the tablet can hold = (2.2 x 10^10)/2000 = 11000000 pages of text

A 500 page book has 500 x 2000 characters = 1,000,000 characters

1000000 characters = 1000000 bites

The number of 500-page books the tablet can hold =

\frac{2.2x10^{10}}{1000000}=22,000\text{ 500-page books}

answer for the B part = 22,000 500-page books

Mumz [18]

Answer:

Α. 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Given A = -8 and B = 10

The distance between A and B

= B - A

= 10 - (-8)

= 10 + 8

= 18 units

4/9 of the way between A and B

= 4/9 of the distance between A and B

= 4/9 x 18 units

= 8 units.

Hence the location of the point that is 4/9 of the way from A to B

= value at point A + 8 units

= -8 + 8

= 0 (answer)

What is the total area of the figure below?
ki77a [65]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

28×14=392, which generally already gives you the answer. But the extra area is a trapezoid so we do 4+6=10×2(height)=20, but we have to divide by two since its a trapezoid giving us 10. So 10+392=402

. If y varies directly with x, and y = -35 and x=7, what is x when y = -85?
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

x = 17

Step-by-step explanation:

Direct variation is given by

y = kx  where k is the constant of variation

-35 = k*7

-35/7 = k

-5 = k

y = -5x

We know y = -85

-85 = -5x

Divide each side by -5

-85/-5 = x

17 =x
