ANSWER

The role of the indicator is to help us determine the endpoint of the reaction

EXPLANATION

Titration is defined as a technique where a solution of a known concentration is used to determine the concentration of an unknown solution.

This normally occurs between an acid and a base. The role of the indicator is to detect the end point of the titration. When the endpoint is reached the indicator will change from its original color before the reaction.

Hence, the role of the indicator is to help us determine the endpoint of the reaction

finlep [7]

Answer:

 1. According to the law
Mass of reactants = mass of product, here
`underset(10 g)(CaCO_(3))rarr underset(4.4 g)(CO_(2))+underset(x)(CaO)`
Hence, x = 10 g - 4.4 g = 5.6 g
Which is mass of CaO.d
 2. In the first compound
Hydrogen = 5.93 %
Oxygen = `(100-5.93)% = 94.07 %`
In the second compound
Hydrogen = 11.2 %
Oxygen `= (100-11.2)%=88.8%`
In the first compound the number of parts by mass of oxygen that combine with one part by mass of hydrogen `=(94.07)/(5.93)=15.86` parts ...

The exponents in the rate law of an elementary step are always equal to the coefficients of each species in the balanced reactio
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

True. Since in an elementary step , the reaction procedes by collision of the atoms of reactants involved and since the rate of collision is proportional to the concentration of each atom that participates in the elementary step , the exponents in the rate law of the elementary step always coincides with the coefficients that correspond to that reaction ( regardless if is unimolecular, bimolecular or trimolecular).
