How many moles of HNO3 will be produced 3 NO2+H2O=2HNO3+ NO
valkas [14]

Answer:

2 moles of HNO3

Explanation:

The equation seems to be balanced correctly. The problem is we done know what you started with. We will assume it is 3 moles of NO2.

If that is the case then 2 moles of HNO3 will be produced.

Zn(s) + 2HCl(aq) → ZnCl2(aq) + H2(g)
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

limiting reactant

Explanation:

The term that will be used to describe zinc in this case is limiting reactant.

A limiting reactant is a reactant that determines the amount of product formed in a chemical reaction. They are often stoichiometrically smaller of all the reactants in a reaction and once they are used up during, the reaction stops.

In this case, the zinc metal in the reaction is completely consumed, making the hydrochloric acid to be in excess. The zinc thus determines the amount of the products formed,

When the reaction A → B + C is studied, a plot 1/[A]t vs. time gives a straight line with a positive slope. What is the order of
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

Second order

Explanation:

Given that:

When the reaction A → B + C is studied, a plot 1/[A]t vs. time gives a straight line with a positive slope.

From the integration method for the second order of reaction.

Suppose that:

rate = k₂[A]²

∴

\dfrac{1}{A}=\dfrac{1}{A_0}+k_2t

Therefore, a plot of the linear function \dfrac{1}{A} versus t will be linear with a positive slope k₂ and the intercept on the concentration axis will be \dfrac{1}{A_o}

The linear plot for a second order reaction can be seen in theimage attached below.

A mutation produces a bright Orange moth in the population of green moths. The moths live ia a green forest would this mutation
Mamont248 [21]
No it will not be passed on. As the question states the moths live in a green forest so the green moths have camouflage, which is a big advantage. But the orange moth doesn’t and will very easily be spotted by predators(will die very soon probably before reaching its reproductive period) thus the mutation wont be passed on.

Hope this helps:)
