The measure of angle EBF is  80° .

In the question ,

it is given that ,

point A, B and C lie on a straight line .

and G , B and F lie on a different straight line .

angle GBA = 24° so ,

GBA + GBC = 180°   ...because linear pair

So , GBC = 180 - 24 = 156°

angle CBF = 24°          ......because vertically opposite angles are equal .

from the figure , we see that angle GBC and angle ABF are vertically opposite angles , so ,

156° = ABE + EBF         .....(1)

Since the line AC and DF are parallel and BE is the transversal

So  , angle DEB + angle ABE = 180°

104° + ABE = 180°

ABE = 180-104

ABE = 76°

Substituting ABE = 76° in the equation (1) ,

we get ,

156 = 76+ EBF

EBF = 156 - 76

EBF = 80°

Therefore , The measure of angle EBF is  80° .

I NEED HELP ASAP!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

y= 2x-3  m=2 b= -3

Step-by-step explanation:

we distribute 2(x-2)

y-1 = 2(x-2)

y-1 = 2x-4

then add one to both sides

y-1= 2x -4

 +1       +1

since it is negative four and you are adding one it would be -3

y= 2x -3  that is your slope intercept form.

y= mx +b  so m=2 and b= -3

ABC is isosceles with AB=AC=8 units and BC=6 units. D and E are midpoints of AB and BC respectively. Calculate the length of DE?
Allushta [10]
The triangle is drawn and is shown in the image attached with.

We get two similar triangles. Triangle ABC and Triangle ADE. Since the triangles are similar the ratio of their corresponding sides will be the same.

D and E are the midpoints of AB and BC, therefore, AD and AE are both 4 units in length. Using the property of similar triangles, we can say:

AD : DE= AB : BC
AD = 4 units
AB = 8 units
BC = 6 units
DE = unknown = x units

So,

4 :x = 8 : 6 \\  \\
 \frac{4}{x} = \frac{8}{6}  \\  \\
x=4* \frac{6}{8}=3

Therefore, the length of DE will be 3 units
