ved after 4 and 7 months.Number of months:4,7Total amount of savings (dollars):80,140which statements about this situation are true and support the relationship as being proportional?which 2 statements is true? A) a constant of $20 can be multiplied by the number of months to find the amount in the account.B) a constant of $20 can be added to the number of months to find the amount in the account.C) the values of the ratios in the table, total amount of savings to number of months,are equivalent.D) if graphed on the coordinate plane, the values in the table fall on a line that passes through the origin.E) the table of values shows that $60 is added to the account each month.

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a proportional variation if it can be expressed in the form y=Kx

where

K is the constant of proportionality or slope of the linear equation

In this problem

x ----> is the number of months

y -----> is the total amount savings

we have the ordered pairs

(4,80) and (7,140)

so

Find the value of K

K=y/x

For (4,80)

K=80/4=20

For (7,140)

K=140/7=20

The value of K is the same for both ordered paits

that means------> is a proportional relationship

therefore

the linear equation is

y=20x

the answer is the option A, C and D

What is 3 quarters of 20?
Ulleksa [173]
Well, one quarter of 20 is 5 (because 20 ÷ 4 = 5).  so, to find 3 quarters, we multiply 5 times 3.

5 × 3 = 15, so 3 quarters of 20 is 15.

Kyra is particapatiog ina fundraiser walk a thon she walks 2 miles in 30 minutes if she continues to walk at the same rate deter
faltersainse [42]
Okay. So by looking at this and doing mental math, it takes her 15 minutes to walk 1 mile. So for her to walk 7 miles, it will take her 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes to do so. Here’s the double line diagram to support my answer (forgive me for the terrible writing).

The graph of an absolute value function has a vertex at (–2, 3) and passes through the point (–1, 0). Using transformations of t
Vedmedyk [2.9K]
The parent function has a slope of 1 or -1 from any point to the vertex. In the problem, we are given the points
(–2, 3) and (–1, 0)
The slope between the two points is
m = 0 - 3 / (-1 - (-2))
m = 3
The slope is greater than 1. Therefore, the graph has been dilated by a scale factor other than 1.
