The combination of radical 5√27 - 17√3 is -2 √3, so option D is correct.

<h3>What are radicals?</h3>

The opposite of an exponent, denoted by the symbol "√" and also known as the root, is a radical. The number before the symbol or radical is regarded as an index number or degree.

Given:

5√27 - 17√3

Simplify the value under roots,

5√(3 × 3 × 3) - 17√3

5 × 3 √3 - 17√3

√3 (15 - 17)

-2 √3

Therefore, the combination of radical 5√27 - 17√3 is -2 √3.

Pls help me solve 5.a and 5.b
Tamiku [17]
You would add both totals since they said how much was the bill includingall the totals. So $192.77+ 48.19= 240.96
Since there is 12 people that need to chip in each, you would divide that total by 12.
240.96/12 = $20.08 each person would have to pay
Hope this helped!

What is 832.248 rounded to the nearest tenth? A. 830 B. 832.2 C. 832.25 D. 832.3
OleMash [197]
Hi there.

To start, we have to understand where the ten the place is.

Hint: it's 1 place behind the decimal point.

Now we need to know what numbers behind the tenths place make it round up or down.

If the number behind it is 4 or under, round down.

5 & up, round up.

In this case, 830.248 has 2 numbers behind the decimal, so we have to round those THEN the 2 in the tenths place.

830.25 to 830.3

Your answer is D. 830.3

I know this was lengthy, sorry. Just wanted to explain :p

\begin{array}{|c|ll} \cline{1-1} \textit{point-slope form}\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}\implies y-\stackrel{y_1}{(-1)}=\stackrel{m}{\cfrac{3}{2}}(x-\stackrel{x_1}{(-6)}) \implies {\large \begin{array}{llll} y +1= \cfrac{3}{2} (x +6) \end{array}}
