The British colonies changed a great deal between the founding of Jamestown and the Battle of Lexington and Concord because it was one that has influenced a lot of Americans to take up arms and aid the cause of independence.

The Battles of Lexington and Concord is known to be one that took place in the year,1775, April  19th to be precise.

It is said to be the most common war that was known to have marked the beginning of the American War in regards to Independence (1775-83).

Note that it was said to be Politically bad for the British. Hence, The British colonies changed a great deal between the founding of Jamestown and the Battle of Lexington and Concord because it was one that has influenced a lot of Americans to take up arms and aid the cause of independence.
