this means that all sides of the triangle are equal

so let us consider the side of the triangle as "s"

Thus we get that perimeter will be 3 times s

which when mathematically written will be:

Perimeter ∝ ( side)

to remove the constant of proportionality (K ) we will write

Perimeter = 3 ( side)  where K = 3
