Given:

8.90ft³ for 30 balloons

Let h be the volume of helium and b be the number of balloons.

Using proportion;

b/h = 30 /8.90

Multiply both-side by h

\frac{b}{h}\times h=\frac{30}{8.90}\times hb=\frac{30}{8.90}h

Hence, the answer to blank 1 is the above.

when b=50, substitute for b in the above and solve for the volume (h).

That is;

50=\frac{30}{8.90}h

Multiply both-side by 8.90/30

50\times\frac{8.90}{30}=h

14.83=h

Hence, the answer to blank 2 is 14.83ft³.

Find four consecutive multiples of 5 whose sum is 90
STatiana [176]

Answer:

15, 20, 25, 30

Step-by-step explanation:

If want to find the first multiple, we could actually use the equation: x + (x+5) + (x+5+5) + (x+5+5+5) = 90. After simplifying this term, we would get 4x+30 = 90 which then transforms into 4x=60 which simplifys to x = 15. Plug 15 into the original equation, and you would get the multiples 15 + 20 + 25 + 30 = 90.

The circumference of a circle is 11pi inches. What is the area, in square inches, of the circle? Express your answer in terms of
Eva8 [605]

\bf \textit{circumference of a circle}\\\\ C=2\pi r~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ C=11\pi \end{cases}\implies 11\pi =2\pi r\implies \cfrac{11\pi }{2\pi }=r\implies \boxed{\cfrac{11}{2}=r} \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \textit{area of a circle}\\\\ A=\pi r^2\qquad \qquad \implies A=\pi \left( \cfrac{11}{2}\right)^2\implies A=\pi \left( \cfrac{11^2}{2^2}\right)\implies A=\cfrac{121\pi }{4}
