True, a dehydrated person will have a more difficult time regulating body temperature in the heat because a reduced plasma volume in the blood reduces the ability to sweat and dissipate heat from the body.

<h3>What do you mean by dehydration?</h3>

A disorder that develops when the body loses too much of the fluids it needs to function normally, including water. Dehydration is typically brought on by persistent diarrhea and vomiting, but it can also be brought on by inadequate hydration, excessive perspiration, fever, excessive urination, and some medications. There are several telltale signs and symptoms of dehydration, including thirst, dry mouth, headache, weariness, dark urine, infrequent urination, sunken eyes or cheeks, dry and chilly skin, dizziness, fainting, muscular cramps, and fast breathing. Severe dehydration is a possibility, particularly in small children and elderly people.

Thus from above conclusion we can say that true, a dehydrated person will have a more difficult time regulating body temperature in the heat because a reduced plasma volume in the blood reduces the ability to sweat and dissipate heat from the body.

Lemur [1.5K]
Most of the nurses are at the sharp end. The blunt end sharp end human performance framework is useful in explaining nursing in that the framework represents how work is actually accomplished successfully in complex work environment.
Sharp end- the actualizer of the process-the person actually doing the task (e.g., the nurse administering a medication; the surgeon holding the scalpel)
Blunt end- parts of the process farther away from the action itself. At its extreme, the blunt end is the environment in which we healthcare. Regulators, accreditors, administrators and designers function at blunt end.
