Exercise has numerous health benefits. It conditions your heart and lungs and helps your body fight disease. Many people believe

that exercise can help you look better too. For example, cardiorespiratory exercises can slim your waist and strength-building workouts can enlarge your muscles. Stretching can shape and tone your body.
Is having an attractive physique important? Why or why not? What dangers, if any, do you see in pursuing an ideal body type? What does an ideal body type for a man or a woman look like to you? What sources in your environment and social circles influence how you define ideal body type? Share a real-world story about how the pursuit of an appealing physique succeeded or failed for an individual. Borrow the story from the news or share an experience of your own.

I would say being physically attractive is good, both for girls and boys looking for a partner.

Pursuing an ideal body type can require high loads of heavy work sometimes, cashing possible muscle and bone injuries.

And ideal woman would be not to skinny and not to fat, with certain parts of the body big and accentuated. An ideal man would be strong and big, with some nice six packs.

Social media and friends have a high influence on what your ideal body is.

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!

You press on the carotid artery in your neck and begin counting. What are you most likely measuring?
valina [46]
When pressing the carotid artery from the neck the person is most likely checking for pulse rates. There are two types of pulse rates and these are called: Resting Heart Rate (RHR) and Maximum Heart Rate (MHR). Resting Heart Rate (RHR) refers to the ability of the heart to pump blood efficiently when at rest. This is usually taken early in the morning when the person has just woken up. It is taken for 3 full minutes and the normal ranges of RHR should only be between 80-120 beats per minute.

Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) refers to the maximum capacity of the heart to pump efficiently. A human heart beat can only perform a maximum of 220 beats per minute. The MHR is taken by deducting your age from the value of 220.</span>
