The Gettysburg address given by Abraham Lincoln clearly defined a moment in history. The address that "All men are created equal" has been followed after the Gettysburg Address and is still now being followed around the world, with some minor misunderstandings.

What is the Gettysburg Address?

The Gettysburg Address was a speech which was being delivered by President Abraham Lincoln in 1863 U.S. by the National Cemetery in Pennsylvania, this was the place where the club's most decisive of the wars took place.

Abraham Lincoln believed that the Gettysburg Address was a fight for daily freedom. It was a fight to break the shackles of the servitude of the bonded laborers from their masters. The war was a fight for the morality of all those people who have fought to break the shackles and lead a life out of the shadows of other people.

This war was not only to safeguard the union but to cherish over the years the foundation of an idea sowed by Lincoln.

some hispanic american politiacl activists say that we didnt cross the border the border crossed us what does that mean
natta225 [31]
Some Hispanics in the United States do not feel that they are unfairly construed as immigrants, when in fact many of them have lived in what is now the United States for longer than the U.S. has existed. Many Hispanics in New Mexico, for instance can trace their ancestry to Spanish settlements established in the late 1500s, long before the United States existed and a hundred years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth. Some Hispanics in Texas argue that they were living peacefully in that land as Mexican citizens until Anglo-Americans forcefully seized Texas from Mexico in the Texas War of Independence

During the 1980s, social programs in the United States were
ioda

Answer:

B.) Reduced.

Explanation:

The Reagan administration is sometimes thought to have reversed the growth of the welfare state by eliminating or shrinking welfare programs at all levels of government and by removing new re-distributional initiatives from the national agenda. This assault on the welfare state was motivated at least in part by philosophical considerations. Leaving aside questions of cost and efficacy, the new administration aimed to confine welfare payments to the “deserving poor” (the aged, children, the permanently disabled, and others who could not be expected to enter the work force) in order to reduce the distorting effects of welfare both in labor markets and on the moral character of recipients. In practice, the administration sought to reduce payments to those with relatively high incomes by tightening eligibility standards and by reducing benefit levels on various programs (Palmer and Sawhill 1982).
