you are billed $300 at 5% simple interest for 2 years but given an opportunity to pay only 3% compound interest for 2 years. Whi
balandron [24]
This question is a bit tricky to answer because it does not state how often interest rate is applied so lets say for the simple 5% interest rate the rate of interest was calculated after 2 years you would pay a total interest of $15 since interest was only calculated once but for the 3% calculating every year with compound it would be a total of 18.27 dollars in interest but then you would have to calculate the 5% simple interest the same way which would total to $30 if calculated once a year being more than the 3% compound. But lets say interest is calculated once a month your total for the 5% simple interest would be $360 dollars interest for those 2 years and the 3% compound would be $406.97 dollars in interest. So over all the less amount of times interest compounds the less interest there is making it more worth than the simple but if the compounding occurs more frequently the simple 5% interest is more worth it. In this situation I think it might just be yearly interest which makes the 3% compound more worth taking for this short amount of time.

Southern Hydraulic Supply is undertaking a review of their inventory policies. A typical product is a small hydraulic fitting. C
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

$418,550

Explanation:

Steps are shown below:

a. The computation of the economic order quantity is shown below:

= \sqrt{\frac{2\times \text{Annual demand}\times \text{Ordering cost}}{\text{Carrying cost}}}

= \sqrt{\frac{2\times \text{52,000}\times \text{\$50}}{\text{\$1.25}}}

= 2,040 units

b. The number of orders would be equal to

= Annual demand ÷ economic order quantity

= $52,000 ÷ 2,040 units

=  25.49 orders

c. The average inventory would equal to

= Economic order quantity ÷ 2

= 2040 units ÷ 2

= 1,020 units

d. The total cost of ordering cost and carrying cost equals to

Ordering cost = Number of orders × ordering cost per order

= 25.49 orders × $50

= $1,275

Carrying cost = average inventory × carrying cost per unit

= 1,020 units × $1.25

= $1,275

So, the total annual cost would be

= Purchase cost + ordering cost + carrying cost

= $416,000 + $1,275 + $1,275

= $418,550

Purchase cost = Annual demand × cost per unit

                        = 52,000 × $8

                        = $416,000

Gnom [1K]

Luna realized that the undecided group was her target audience  so she focused most of her effort on them.

<u>Explanation: </u>

A targeted audience is a publication, advertising or other text.   It is a particular group of consumers in the standard target market of marketing and advertising, known as targets or recipients of a specific ad or email.

In the end, it all includes assessing relevance for a target audience profile. You will attract a customer more often if your services and the goods you deliver suit what your audience wants.

If your customer you want is "everybody," it's very difficult for you to communicate in a deeper way with anyone. The more connected you are to others; the more likely you are to be a protector and a loyal user of your company.
