Critical medical anthropology would a medical anthropologist use to study how humans make sense of health and illness.It focused on the conflict and reconciliation between the individual and society , the health care system as a sociocultural adaptation.

In medical anthropologists help's in people's world like the subjective experience of sickness, healing and mental conditions where they experience and beliefs are situated .

According to medical anthropologists illness is not feeling normal and healthy, can be due to the disease. It may also due to feeling of psychological imbalance. Its key perceptive are comparison , holism , relativism and fieldwork. Scientific and humanistic tendencies both within the discipline at a time, conflict with one another.
