The dimension of the parallelogram is length = 25 m and width = 15 m.

What is a parallelogram?

A quadrilateral with two sets of parallel sides is referred to as a parallelogram. In a parallelogram, the opposing sides are of equal length, and the opposing angles are of equal size. Additionally, the interior angles that are additional to the transversal on the same side. 360 degrees is the sum of all interior angles.

The perimeter of a parallelogram is 2(length + breath).

Let the breath of the parallelogram be x.

Given that the length of the parallelogram is 10 m longer than width.

The length of the parallelogram is (x + 10)m

The perimeter of the parallelogram is  2(x+10 +x) = 2( 2x + 10)

According to the question,

2(2x + 10) =80

Divide both sides by 2

2x + 10 = 40

Subtract 10 from both sides:

2x = 30

Divide both sides by 2

x = 15

The length of the parallelogram is (10 + 15) m = 25m.

A) There are four cards of striped pattern, hence
    P(striped)= \frac{4}{12}= \frac{1}{3}
b) There are twelve cards that have even numbers, hence
    P(Even)= \frac{6}{12}= \frac{1}{2}
c) There are eight cards that aren't in polka dot pattern, hence
    P(Non-polka dot)= \frac{8}{12}= \frac{4}{6}= \frac{2}{3}
d) All cards have either the number 1, 2, 3 or 4 on them, hence
    P(1,2,3, or 4)= \frac{12}{12}=1
e) There are a total of eight cards that are solid grey or striped, hence
    P(solid-grey or striped)= \frac{8}{12}=  \frac{2}{3}

damaskus [11]

Answer:

  • a₁ = 2.6
  • aₙ = aₙ₋₁ + 1.4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

<u>The arithmetic sequence </u>

  • {aₙ} = {2.6, 4, 5.4, 6.8, 8.2, ...}

We can see the common difference is d = 1.4

<u>The formula for this sequence is:</u>

  • a₁ = 2.6
  • aₙ = aₙ₋₁ + 1.4
