The question that would guide a researcher about Deer and Buffalo are:

 • The characteristics that do these animals have that help them survive the temperatures of their environments are: the ability to forage herbs and fast legs to escape predators.
 • The kind of nutrition that these organisms need is basically grass and shrubs.
 • Yes, they have the characteristics that help them find and capture food.
 • Yes, they have ways to sustain themselves if the availability of food or water is limited. This is called chewing the curd.
 • Their natural defenses against predators are speed, strength, and flight. The Buffalo has very large horns.
 • The deer have no characteristics to protect their young. The buffalo does but is limited.
 • Genes play a strong role in the adaptations these organisms developed because they are adapted to be able to evade predators very quickly.
 • Yes, these two organisms are suited to live in each other's environment because they are both herbivores.

What are herbivores?

A herbivore is an animal that is anatomically and physiologically specialized to consuming plant material as the primary component of its diet, such as leaves or sea algae. Herbivorous animals often have mouthparts suited to rasping or grinding as a result of their plant diet.

Many herbivores have teeth that are big, dull, and flat. These teeth are fantastic for chewing and breaking down thick plant material. Carnivore teeth are sharp and small, making them ideal for biting and shredding flesh. Some herbivores, however, have strong, sharp teeth.

With regard to natural defense, since herbivores are not carnivorous, they must defend themselves from predators. Some of the natural defenses used by herbivores such as the Buffalo are:

 • Herding - when they move in a gang, they can stampede carnivores that stand in their way
 • Strong Horns - Buffalos sometimes fight back with their horns
 • Size and toughness of skin - Only very large predators like Tigers and Lions can successfully hunt a buffalo, but not without its risks.

Buffalos and Deer can coexist without any issues because they are both secondary consumers.

Multiple gestations have ________ risk of premature delivery and five times greater chance of perinatal death.
WINSTONCH [101]

Multiple gestations have higher risk of premature delivery and five times greater chance of perinatal death.

A birth that occurs more than three weeks before the baby's anticipated due date is considered preterm. In other terms, a premature delivery is one that happens before the 37th week of pregnancy officially begins.

Compared to kids born later, premature newborns may experience more health issues. These comprise issues with their heart, eyes, lungs, brain, and other organs.

In order to get the specialised medical treatment, certain premature babies may spend time in a hospital's newborn intensive care unit (commonly known as NICU).

What are public policies? How is education affected by public policy? What are some of the interests that dominate education pol
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

Public policy is the process by which governments translate their political vision into programmes and actions to deliver ‘outcomes — desired changes in the real world’. The ‘real world’ is constantly changing and this has resulted in the movement towards greater use of evidence in policy design, making and implementation. Rational choice theory, or now more frequently known as evidence-based policy, argues that focusing on scientific evidence, instead of history and culture, should guide our public policy making.

How is education affected by public policy?

Over time, the following have all been goals of public education:

• to prepare children for citizenship

• to cultivate a skilled workforce

• to teach cultural literacy

• to prepare students for college

• to help students become critical thinkers

• to help students compete in a global marketplace

Explanation:

Major educational policy issues involve the following questions:

Who should be educated and by whom?

What should be taught, and who decides this?

Where and when should students be educated?

Who is responsible for the delivery of education?

How much should education cost and who should pay for it?

What are the standards for measuring success?

What should and can be done to correct failure?
