For a patient admitted for long term care facility the Nurse should use Braden scale in order to assess the client for risk of pressure injury.

A Braden scale may be defined as a tool which is used in health care centers to examine the patient's risk of pressure injury. The factors of risk are rated on the scale from number 1 to 4 with 1 being controllable risk and 4 being uncontrollable risk of pressure injury. There are six factors of measuring risk and to get the complete assessment all the scores from the six factors are added. Some other scales include the Glascow scale which is a tool used to measure a patient's neurological status and being. This scale is used basically in emergency units of hospitals and health care centers. The FLACC scale is a tool used to measure the intensity of pain in a client or patient.

An individual with a latent TB infection would most likely display
pshichka [43]

Answer:

no symptoms and a positive PPD

Explanation:

"TB" stands for <em>"Tuberculosis."</em> It is a disease which is caused by a bacteria called<em> "Mycobacterium tuberculosis." </em>

An individual with a latent TB infection means that<u><em> he has TB yet is not showing symptoms from it.</em></u> The person doesn't feel sick–which means, <em>no night sweats, chills, fever and inflammation.</em> He will also have no cough nor will he feel fatigued. However, if a skin test will be done on him, he will have a positive PPD <em>(Purified Protein Derivative). </em>This is because he has the bacteria in his lungs, but they are <em>"not active."</em>

2.You inherit a pair of genes for each one of your traits. One of the genes in the pair comes from your mother, and the other co
DIA [1.3K]
This depends on if the mother passes down a heterozygous brown eye gene or a homozygous one. If it is heterozygous then the baby will have a 50/50 chance for both colors.
I'm assuming that the mother passes a homozygous gene since they didn't specify in the question, so in that case the baby will have brown eyes. This is because the baby would inherit one dominant and one recessive gene, and the dominant gene will cover up the recessive gene. You can make a punett square to see this too.
