A knowledge base is a self-serve online library of information about a product, service, department, or topic.

The data in your knowledge base can come from anywhere. Typically, contributors who are well versed in the relevant subjects add to and expand the knowledge base. The content can range from the ins and outs of your HR or legal department to an explanation of how a product works. The knowledge base may include FAQs, manuals, troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and other information your team may want or need to know.

Organizations use knowledge bases for a lot of reasons. And they’re finding more uses virtually every day. The way you use a knowledge base depends, of course, on what your organization does and who it serves. But here are a few of the ways knowledge bases are proving to be invaluable to various teams.

 1. IT: It simplifies everything from troubleshooting to training/onboarding and general how-to and support questions
 2. HR: Again, great for everything from training/onboarding to distributing company policies and pay schedules
 3. Legal: Helps with contract and other approval processes, policies, trademarks and registrations.

Cognitive development means how children think, explore and figure things out. It is the development of knowledge, skills, problem solving and dispositions, which help children to think about and understand the world around them. Brain development is part of cognitive development.

To promote your child's cognitive development, it is important that you actively engage in quality interactions on a daily basis. Examples include:

 1. Talking with your baby and naming commonly used objects.
 2. Letting your baby explore toys and move about.
 3. Singing and reading to your baby.
 4. Exposing your toddler to books and puzzles.
 5. Expanding on your child's interests in specific learning activities. For example, your toddler might show an early interest in dinosaurs, so you can take him/her on a trip to the natural history museum to learn more about the time that these creatures roamed the earth.
 6. Answering your child’s “why” questions.

The three factors that facilitate increases in the knowledge base are:

a) Past experience,

b) Current opportunity, and

c) Personal motivation.

How can a nation achieve inclusiveness? present it in points
Afina-wow [57]

Explanation:

Sha Zukang, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, appealed to the Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian and Cultural) to put social integration and cohesion at the heart of its work, as it opened its session today with a debate on social development.

Although the world is recovering slowly from the global financial, economic, food and fuel crises, Mr. Sha said the social impacts of those events persist, with employment in advanced economies only due to return to pre-crisis levels by 2015 and millions of people in developing countries pushed to vulnerable employment. Poverty reduction has meanwhile slowed, and education and nutrition initiatives have been set back.

Effective and sustainable implementation of the Action Agenda agreed at the General Assembly’s recent high-level meeting on the Millennium Development Goals would require “inclusive policies that put people at the centre of development,” he said. “Policies that reduce unemployment, fight poverty and lessen social injustice. Policies that pursue a society for all.”

Mr. Sha drew attention to a number of challenges, including the rapid ageing of the world’s population (with 2 billion people forecast to be over the age of 60 by 2050), the situation of persons with disabilities (four fifths of whom live in developing countries, mostly in rural areas, and often in poverty), the status of indigenous peoples (“They are among the most disadvantaged people in the world,” he said) and the impact of the financial and economic crisis on young people (who represent 44 per cent of the world’s unemployed).

Yemen’s representative, speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 developing countries and China, said progress in social development had been “uneven and disappointing”, with more than 1 billion people suffering from hunger and 1.4 billion living in extreme poverty for the first time history. In such a context, he said, implementing the commitments of the World Summit fo

Choose the statement from the following choices that best describes the separation of powers. A. Powers and duties of the United
Delvig [45]

Answer:

The correct answer would be option A, Powers and duties of the United States Government are divided among the three branches of government.

Explanation:

Separation of powers means that the duties of government are divided among different parts of the Government. The purpose of this system is to make sure that power is not held by the central government only and is properly distributed among all the branches to serve all aspects of the society.

In the US system, there are three branches of federal government between which the power exists. The Executive Branch is the president and their staff including the Cabinet. The Legislative Branch is the two houses of Congress: the House of Representatives and the Senate. The third branch is the Court with the Supreme Court at the head and district level courts throughout the country.

Each branch has separate roles and each branch can check the power of other one.
