The manifestation nurse would recognize as a positive response to the prescribed treatment of a patient with acute glomerulonephritis is that the client has lost 11 pounds in the past 10 days.

Acute glomerulonephritis is the inflammation of the kidneys. The most prevalent reason for the disease is infection by Streptococcus species. The general treatment for this disease is kidney dialysis. This is because the glomerulus fails to filter the blood from toxins. The symptoms of the disease are: w]swelling in hands and feet, pink-colored urine, hypertension, nausea and vomiting.

Treatment is the process of curing of any disease. The treatment is a broad term that includes evaluating the intensity of the disease, prescribing the medicines and making sure that the patient recovers.
