The average number of viewers over the two weeks are 3.75 X 10^6

A tv show had 4.4 x 10^6 viewers in the first week

and 3.1 x 10^6 viewers in the second week.

What is average number ?

This is the arithmetic mean, and is calculated by adding a group of numbers and then dividing by the count of those numbers.

To find the average number of viewers over the two weeks

Remove the decimal point.

4.4 x 10^6 write like this 4400000

Similarly, 3.1 x 10^6 write like this 3100000

Now, Solving the question

Therefore, the average will be

4400000 + 3100000

= 7500000/2

=3750000

=3.75 X 10^6

and3.75 x 10^6

Thus , the average number of viewers over the two week  3.75 x 10^6

Flying against the wind, an airplane travels 4500km in 6 hours. Flying with the wind, the same plane travels 2910 kilometers in
katen-ka-za [31]

Let <em>a</em> denote the airplane's speed in still air, and <em>w</em> the windspeed.

When the plane flies against the wind, it can travel an average speed of

(4500 km) / (6 h) = 750 km/h

so that

<em>a</em> - <em>w</em> = 750 km/h

Flying with the wind, it moves at a speed of

(2910 km) / (3 h) = 970 km/h

so that

<em>a</em> + <em>w</em> = 970 km/h

Add the two equations to eliminate <em>w</em> and solve for <em>a</em> :

(<em>a</em> - <em>w</em>) + (<em>a</em> + <em>w</em>) = 750 km/h + 970 km/h

2<em>a</em> = 1720 km/h

<em>a</em> = 860 km/h

Subtract them to eliminate <em>a</em> and solve for <em>w</em> :

(<em>a</em> - <em>w</em>) - (<em>a</em> + <em>w</em>) = 750 km/h - 970 km/h

-2<em>w</em> = -220 km/h

<em>w</em> = 110 km/h

A firework rocket consists of a cone stacked on top of a cylinder, where the radii of the cone and the cylinder are equal. The d
Svet_ta [14]

Answer:

188π in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Surface area of the rocket = surface area of the cone + surface area of the cylinder

Surface area of a cone = πr(r+h^2+r^2)

r = 8/2 = 4 in

4π( 4 + 3^2 + 4^2) =

4π ( 4 + 9 + 16) = 116π in^2

Surface area of a cylinder = 2πrh+2πr^2

(2 x n x 4 x 5) + (2 x n x 16)= 72π in^2

116 + 72 = 188π in^2
