Therefore,

Multiply each equation by the value that makes the coefficients of y opposite.

(6x - 4y = 4) - [2 × (3x - 2y = 1)]

= [(6x - 4y = 4) - (6x - 4y = 2)]

= 0 = 2

Hence, the equations intersect at an infinite number of points. Infinite number of solutions.
