(\frac{1}{5}x+1)(\frac{1}{6}x+\frac{5}{4})

Use distributive property to remove the parentheses:

(a+b)(c+d)=ac+ad+bc+bd\begin{gathered} =\frac{1}{5}x*\frac{1}{6}x+\frac{1}{5}x*\frac{5}{4}+1*\frac{1}{6}x+1*\frac{5}{4} \\  \\ Multiplication\text{ }of\text{ }fractions: \\ \frac{a}{b}*\frac{c}{d}=\frac{a*c}{b*d} \\  \\ =\frac{1}{30}x^2+\frac{5}{20}x+\frac{1}{6}x+\frac{5}{4} \\  \\ =\frac{1}{30}x^2+\frac{1}{4}x+\frac{1}{6}x+\frac{5}{4} \\  \\ Addition\text{ }of\text{ }fractions: \\ \frac{a}{b}+\frac{c}{d}=\frac{ad+bc}{bd} \\  \\ =\frac{1}{30}x^2+(\frac{6x+4x}{24})+\frac{5}{4} \\  \\ =\frac{1}{30}x^2+\frac{10}{24}x+\frac{5}{4} \\  \\ Simplify: \\ =\frac{1}{30}x^2+\frac{5}{12}x+\frac{5}{4} \end{gathered}Then, the product in the simplest form is:\frac{1}{30}x^2+\frac{5}{12}x+\frac{5}{4}

Is a triangle with the given side lengths of 15cm, 17cm, and 19cm a right triangle?
Alexandra [31]
Lets see!
We need to use the pythagorean theorem (a^2+b^2=c^2) to check.
So..
15^2+ 17^2 = 19^2
225+ 289= 361
Hm 225 and 289 do NOT equal 361 therefore it is NOT a right triangle.

Question no. 6, can anyone help?
monitta
In order to find this you have to set i by itself first we will subtravt 40 from both sides(because 40 is s positive and in order to get rid of a positive you have to use a negative) now we have -40=5i, now divide 5 from both sides to get i=-8, that is what Terry will be givng from tip

Hope this helps

The perimeter of rectangular is 54 inches Its length is two times its width
USPshnik [31]
The length would be 18 inches and the width would be 9 inches since the length is twice its width and to find perimeter you do length x 2 and width x 2 and add it together so 18x2 = 36 and 9x2 = 18. 36 + 18 = 54
