For PART A: the height of the pole in the right angle triangle is 30 ft and the correct option is C

For PART B: the lenght of wire 1 in the right angle triangle is 45 ft and the right option is D

What is a right angle triangle?

A right-angled triangle is a polygon of three sides having one angle as 90 degrees(right angle).

Part A

To calculate the height of the pole in the right angle triangle, we use the formula below.

Formula:

 • tan∅ = opposite/adjacent

From the diagram,

Given:

 • ∅ = 41°
 • Opposite = Height of the pole = P
 • Adjacent = 34 ft

Substitute these values into equation 1 and solve for P

 • tan41° = P/34
 • P = 34×tan41°
 • P = 29.55
 • P ≈ 30 ft

Part B

Similarly, fine the length of wire 1, we use the formula below.

Formula:

 • cos∅ = Adjacent/Hypotenus.......... Equation 2

From the diagram,

Given:

 • Hypotenus = Wire 1 = x
 • ∅ = 41°
 • Adjacent = 34 ft

Substitute these values into equation 2 and solve for x

 • cos41° = 34/x
 • x = 34/cos41°
 • x = 45.05
 • x ≈ 45 ft

Hence, the height of the pole is 30 ft and the lenght of wire 1 is 45 ft.

Kara mixes different colors of paint to create new colors. The table shows the amount of paint Kara mixes per batch.
Sergio [31]

Answer:

D. Batch 5.

Step-by-step explanation:

The batch should have the same proportion of blue to white to yellow.

In Batch 1, there are two parts of blue, 1.5 parts of white, and 1 part of yellow.

In Batch 5, there are four parts of blue, 3 parts of white, and 2 parts of yellow.

4 / 2 = 2

3 / 2 = 1.5

2 / 2 = 1

Since the proportions are equal to those found in Batch 1, D. Batch 5 will create the same colors as the first batch.

Hope this helps!

sarita use 54 ounces of apples to make an apple pie how many pounds and ounces of apples did sarita use
LUCKY_DIMON [66]
One pound is 16oz. So you take 54 and minus it by 16 until you get something less that 16. Then you take how many times you subtracted it, and that is how many pounds. Then you take the "leftover" number and they you have your answer.
so Sarita used 3 pounds and 8 oz.
