To enable WAN connectivity, less priced VoIP gateways can be employed in place of pricey routers and modems.

when VoIP calls have odd sound effects due to severe jitter. whenever VoIP data uses an excessive amount of your network's bandwidth. when callers talk over one another due to network latency. a technique for data compression to reduce bandwidth usage. The codec G. 722 should be used initially, followed by the codec G. 711, if you prefer higher call quality. However, set G if lesser bandwidth is a problem. By using a broadband Internet connection rather than an ordinary (or analog) phone line, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology enables voice calls to be placed.

Zina [86]
We can define a word as a group of characters without a space between them. To find the words of the input string , w can use split(delimiter) which returns a list of strings which had the defined delimiter between them in the input string.

def countWords(string):
words = string.split(" ")
count = len(words)
return count

Here we set the delimiter as the space character, and returned the length of the words list. I split each step into its own line for readability, however the function could be one line:

return len(string.split())

Here, no delimiter is specified. If one isn't given, it will default to split at any whitespace, including space.

What is output? public class MathRecursive { public static void myMathFunction(int a, int r, int counter) { int val; val = a*r;
ycow [4]

Answer:

The output of the program is:

2 4 8 16 32 64 End

Explanation:

See attachment for proper presentation of the program

The program uses recursion to determine its operations and outputs.

The function is defined as: myMathFunction(int a, int r, int counter)

It initially gets the following as its input from the main method

a= 1; r = 2; counter = 0

Its operation goes thus:

val = a*r; 1 * 2 = 2

Print val; Prints 2

if (counter > 4) { System.out.print("End"); } : Not true

else { myMathFunction(val, r, counter + 1); }: True

The value of counter is incremented by 1 and the function gets the following values:

a= 2; r = 2; counter = 1

val = a*r; 2 * 2 = 4

Print val; Prints 4

else { myMathFunction(val, r, counter + 1); }: True

The value of counter is incremented by 1 and the function gets the following values:

a= 4; r = 2; counter = 2

val = a*r; 4 * 2 = 8

Print val; Prints 8

else { myMathFunction(val, r, counter + 1); }: True

The value of counter is incremented by 1 and the function gets the following values:

a= 8; r = 2; counter = 3

val = a*r; 8 * 2 = 16

Print val; Prints 16

else { myMathFunction(val, r, counter + 1); }: True

The value of counter is incremented by 1 and the function gets the following values:

a= 16; r = 2; counter = 4

val = a*r; 16 * 2 = 32

Print val; Prints 32

else { myMathFunction(val, r, counter + 1); }: True

The value of counter is incremented by 1 and the function gets the following values:

a= 32; r = 2; counter = 5

val = a*r; 32 * 2 = 64

Print val; Prints 64

if (counter > 4) { System.out.print("End"); } : True

<em>This prints "End"</em>

So; the output of the program is:

2 4 8 16 32 64 End

Give several reasons why Python is such a great programming language. Explain how Python is related to flowcharts. (students mak
Mekhanik [1.2K]

It is great but that's really it.

Don't get me wrong I adore Python, no complications, pure simplicity, wonderful community. But for any larger project that will be scaled I'd never use it. It's slow (mostly because of GIL) and gets pretty hard to organise once you have thousands of .py files but it's still a great language (my first one) when doing quick prototyping, personal projects, learning and it's also AI de facto programming language because of its readability works as a glue with AI.

It's related to flowchart in a way we write algorithms, for eg. in python we rarely use counter in for loop the inverse is thus C++ where most for loops are for loops not for each loops.

Hope this helps.
