Given the news story titled; "California’s first offshore wind project has Morro Bay fishermen worried" we understand that: California fishermen are worried that offshore wind farms on the West Coast "will become another place they can’t fish."

What are the fishermen worried about?

The fishermen in the text are worried that when wind turbines are introduced in the West and Central Coasts, they stood the risk of losing yet another portion of land that would have been dedicated to fish farming.

This was coming after they had already lost some portion of their lands to places that were now marked as marine protected territories.

The fishermen should be rightly worried because fishing was a source of livelihood for them. Now, that wind turbines have been approved by the Biden administration, they stood the risk of losing more portions of land. This will grossly affect their activities.

Answer:

Fallacy is the use of invalid or otherwise faulty reasoning, or "wrong moves" in the construction of an argument. Faulty reasoning occurs when the conclusion is not supported by the data.

"What to the slave is the Fourth of July?" is faulty reasoning because it's incorrect thinking, and not based on correct conclusions and isn't supported by data or facts.

Margarita [4]

Your first option is correct.

EXPLANATION:

your first option is correct because this is a grammar question. When you use "an" you're using it in front of a vowel. The only sentence starting with a vowel is the first one. The others don't sound right when you use "an" in front of it instead of "a".

I hope I helped! :)
