Treatments known as evidence-based interventions (EBI) have been shown to be somewhat beneficial through outcome assessments. Therefore, if used properly, EBI are treatments that are probably helpful in altering target behaviour. There is a long history of the EBI movement in medicine, clinical psychology, and counselling psychology.
The EBI movement was expanded to include education and school psychology in the 1990s. Although there has been a lot of study on interventions and general discussion, no established "list" of EBI has been created.
