The cathedral is viewed as a representation of imperial authority as it served as the final resting place for Salian, Staufer, and Habsburg emperors and monarchs. It continues to be the biggest Romanesque church with the Abbey of Cluny in ruins.

What was the Burial?

The act of burying the dead involves putting the body of a deceased person in a tomb created for that purpose or in a grave excavated in the ground. In societies like Mesopotamia, tombs and graves were dug into the earth in the hope that the deceased person's spirit would be more readily able to enter the afterlife,

In ancient cultures, graves were typically marked by a stone with the deceased's image and name, a complex tomb (like the pyramids of Egypt or the tholos tombs of Greece), or megalithic stone structures like dolmens, passage graves, and cairns like those discovered in Scotland and Ireland.

Around 5000 BCE, in ancient Sumer, burial customs emerged, and the deceased were buried with food and equipment. The historian Will Durant claims that the Sumerians had this belief. However, like the Greeks, they imagined the afterlife to be a miserable place of shadows where all the dead indiscriminately descended. They also believed that the afterlife was located below the earth.

Answer:

Thomas Gibbons won the case Gibbons versus Ogden 1824 because the possession of a Federal license of business led to the win of Thomas Gibbons between him and Ogden

Explanation:

The federal license of trade issued under the Congress act clearly stated that Thomas Gibbons had the right of trade in the area Aaron Ogden operated his Steamboats in. As a monopoly possession of the Steamboats from Robert Fulton and Robert R Livingstone, Ogden purchased and granted the rights for them to be operated in the regions of New York and New Jersey. Gibbons was accused of Operating his systems in the same route without permission but was released on the showcasing of a federal trade license.
