I agree, Wallace's rule (commonly known as the rule of nines) is a measurement tool used in pre-hospital care medications. The intent of the measurement is to quantize the total body surface area affected by a burn. Burns can still be classified according to their extent. To calculate the Burned Body Surface (SCQ), the Rule of Nine is used and the result of the sum is presented in percentage (% of SCQ).the ICD 10 - T29 is for burns and corrosions of multiple body regions.

Where does the rule of nines come from?

In addition to determining burn severity, the measurement of burn surface area is important for estimating patients' fluid requirements and determining hospital admission criteria. The rule of nines was devised by Pulaski and Tennison in 1947, and published by Alexander Burns Wallace in 1951.

Tumors are groups of metastatic cells that may be benign or malignant cells. It is a distinctive feature of cancer.

Cancer and tumors

Cancer is a multifactorial disease characterized by the emergence of metastatic cells that proliferate in an uncontrolled manner to form a tumor.

There are situations where cancer only can be diagnosed by obtaining a small tissue sample, which is known as a biopsy.

Cancer can be classified as benign cancer or malign cancer depending on the proliferative nature of cancer cells and their ability to produce metastasis (malignant cells produce metastasis).
