Blunt abdominal injury is defined as damage to the abdomen and/or abdominal organs secondary to impact with a blunt (not penetrating) object or to alert patients free of diverting injuries, the most reliable symptoms and signs of Blunt abdominal injury are abdominal pain, abdominal tenderness, and peritoneal findings, especially when risk factors for abdominal injury are present. During blunt abdominal injury, the patient is lying down in a position of greatest comfort, usually on the back or on the uninjured side, with both knees worm up for the relief of pain and spasm. One option for cancer treatment is removal of the ____________ , especially if detected at an early stage.
GalinKa [24]

Answer: tumor

Explanation:

- Tumors, which are lumps of tissue occur when cells divide and grow excessively in the body. Tumors can be cancerous or not cancerous (benign). Cancerous tumors spread into, or invade, nearby tissues and can travel to distant places in the body to form new tumors.

- If possible, an option for cancer treatment is removal of the tumor which is fueling the cancer. The idea is that when you take out the source, everything else will clear up and you should ultimately be cancer free. Although it is one of the best options, it is not always successful.

hope this helps :)

Which bone would likely take the longest to heal? Select one: a. finger bone of an elderly individual b. thigh bone of an elderl
anastassius [24]
The finger bone of an elderly individual is going to take the longest to heal because the healing of a bone is dependent on the blood flow to that area. The elderly already have a weaker blood flow than healthy, young people, so the healing of their bones takes longer. On top of that, the finger gets less blood supply than the thigh bone, so it will take longer to heal than the thigh.
