ANSWER :

The larger number is 35

EXPLANATION :

Let x = first number

The second number is 9 more than twice the other number.

So that will be (2x + 9)

The difference between the two is 22.

So we have :

\begin{gathered} (2x+9)-x=22 \\ x+9=22 \\ x=22-9 \\ x=13 \end{gathered}

The first number is 13

The second number will be :

2(13) + 9 = 26 + 9

= 35

One of the same-side exterior angles formed by two lines and a transversal is equal to 1/6 of the right angle and is 11 times sm
sergey [27]

One of the same-side exterior angles formed by two lines and a transversal is equal to 1/6 of the right angle and is 11 times smaller than the other angle. Then the lines are parallel

<h3><u>Solution:</u></h3>

Given that, One of the same-side exterior angles formed by two lines and a transversal is equal to 1/6 of the right angle and is 11 times smaller than the other angle.

We have to prove that the lines are parallel.

If they are parallel, sum of the described angles should be equal to 180 as they are same side exterior angles.

Now, the 1st angle will be 1/6 of right angle is given as:

\begin{array}{l}{\rightarrow 1^{\text {st }} \text { angle }=\frac{1}{6} \times 90} \\\\ {\rightarrow 1^{\text {st }} \text { angle }=15 \text { degrees }}\end{array}

And now, 15 degrees is 11 times smaller than the other

Then other angle = 11 times of 15 degrees

\text {Other angle }=11 \times 15=165 \text { degrees }

Now, sum of angles = 15 + 165 = 180 degrees.

As we expected their sum is 180 degrees. So the lines are parallel.

Hence, the given lines are parallel

4w+15= -13<br><br> -12=n/2-6
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

For the one including 4w the answer is - 7

The one with n/2 is - 12

Step-by-step explanation:

4w=-13-15

4w=-28

w=-7

Multiply by 2 on both sides

-24=n-12

-24+12=n

Always write it in the variables perspective.

n=-12

Find the value of x
maks197457 [2]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

∠S=180-(54+62)=180-116=64°

using sin formula

\frac{x}{sin~64} =\frac{7}{sin~62} \\x=\frac{7~sin~64}{sin~62} \approx 7.1256 \approx 7.13
