Paramagnetic ions common among transition elements but not main-group elements because transition elements contain one or more unpaired electrons in their (n-1)d orbitals and show paramagnetic behavior. The magnetic moment due to unpaired electron spins are aligned parallel to the external magnetic field more effectively resulting in an exceptionally strong reinforcement of Para magnetism in transition elements than in other elements.

What is Para magnetism?

Para magnetism is a form of magnetism whereby some materials are weakly attracted by an externally applied magnetic field, and form internal, induced magnetic fields in the direction of the applied magnetic field.

Whereas, diamagnetic materials are repelled by magnetic fields and form induced magnetic fields in the direction opposite to that of the applied magnetic field.

Para magnetism is due to the presence of unpaired electrons in the material, so most atoms with incompletely filled atomic orbitals are paramagnetic, although exceptions such as copper exist.

Which fields of science do you think might use data tables and graphs more than others
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

Statistics

Explanation:

The science of statistics deals with the collection, storage, manipulation, analyzing, visualizing and interpretation of data. Graphs and tables are very good tools in order to achieve statistical problems. Tables can be used to compare a given data set and present them in a very simple relational way. Graphs are useful for data visualization and their trend is vital in making interpretations.

write a balanced equation to determine the molarity of the HCI solution when a 24.6 ml sample of HCI reacts with a 33.0 mL of 0.
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer: 0.30 M

Explanation:

HCl+NaOH\rightarrow NaCl+H_2O

According to the neutralization law,

n_1M_1V_1=n_2M_2V_2

where,

M_1 = molarity of HCl solution = ?

V_1 = volume of HCl solution = 24.6 ml

M_2 = molarity of NaOH solution = 0.222 M

V_2 = volume of NaOH solution = 33.0 ml

n_1 = valency of HCl = 21

n_2 = valency of NaOH = 1

1\times M_1\times 24.6=1\times 0.222\times 33.0

M_1=0.30M

Therefore, the molarity of the HCI solution is 0.30 M
