The probability can be expressed as :

Probability=\frac{\text{ Shaded Sections}}{\text{ Total Sections}}

The number of shaded sections is 5.

The number of total sections is 12.

In one spin, the probability is :

\text{Probability =}\frac{5}{12}

Every spin has the same probability of landing on shaded area. Since Sarah spins the spinner twice. The probability now will be :

\text{Probability}=\frac{5}{12}\cdot\frac{5}{12}=\frac{25}{144}

The answer is a :

\frac{25}{144}

Lunna [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

W^m=\underbrace{W\cdot W\cdot W\cdot...\cdot W}_{m}\\\\W^n=\underbrace{W\cdot W\cdot W\cdot...\cdot W}_{n}\\\\W^mW^n=\underbrace{(W\cdot W\cdot W\cdot...\cdot W)}_{m}\underbrace{(W\cdot W\cdot W\cdot...\cdot W)}_{n}\\\\=\underbrace{W\cdot W\cdot W\cdot...\cdot W}_{m+n}=W^{m+n}

Please solve number 11:(
MrRa [10]

Answer:

Market price $400

Cost price $300

Step-by-step explanation:

MP: market price

CP: cost price

1. (MP x 0.9) - CP = 60

CP = 0.9MP - 60

2. MP - CP = 100

CP = MP - 100

0.9MP - 60 = MP - 100

MP - 0.9MP = 100 - 60

0.1MP = 40

MP = 400

Cost price = MP - 100 = 400 - 100 = 300
